Teaticket park is a small quilt of nature nestled in bustling East Falmouth. I've driven by it many times but today I decided to stop. There is something rejuvenating about getting out in a field with birds and bugs singing to you softly. The regular world is just a stones throw away but it's just far enough to recharge your batteries.
The land was once a golf driving range but with some tender love and care from citizens of Falmouth and the 300 Committee Land Trust of Falmouth, the park was opened in 2013. While I was there, I spent a good deal of time watching a hawk as he stalked unseen critters in the tall grass. I'm looking forward to visiting again!
